The digital notes are not built on this coz I was maintaining a physical note when I was following this playlist
Here are some things that I felt, and can help you if you're planning to start this playlist:
- I'll be honest, I had very mixed feelings for first few videos... At times they felt dilute, too much repeatition of things that at times didn't even make sense, heavy hindi words. It was confusing as well.
- One good thing I did was, I kept noting things that were repeated multiple times(in a notebook), even though it did not make sense. I was secretly wishing that it'd prolly make sense down the line (Spoiler alert ! It all did!)
- Maharaj Saheb often pauses and asks questions and and just like the zoom audience (in the recording) I was also often caught off guard. This helped me focus more subsequently.
- I first got started with edited playlist, which had cropped silences and start and end parts, to make the video crisp, but I found some discrepancies so I switched to unedited videos, although it is lengthy, but I feel they are better. (Attached link is the unedited playlist link)
- Looking at the massive amount of playlists, it can easily get intimidating. Infact Sahebji is taking live classes on many topics as well, missing out on those trigger FOMO. But I am trying to push through with the discipline and faith on importance of understanding the basics properly.
6. Most importantly, when dealing with such important and vast topics, one can easily give in to the childhood mentality of finishing the syllabus. I had to fight that. Theoritically we can understand stuff, but integrating it practically is very important. My take away - Slow absorption is fine, but true absorption is necessary, coz we might not dive this deep into topics ever again.
I'd highly recommend anyone starting the playlist to keep above pointers in mind.
